The cool blue-purple color has a special quality which, diffuses stage lights almost as if it were silver or vintage pewter.  The ash wood shell has an outstanding resonation.  It is a beautiful and sensitive wood which responds quickly and makes drummer easier.  The hand-selected water buffalo head also produces strong resonation and adds warmth to the tone.
